Gift detail package

Got the Hang of it Now
Hello all,

My wife and I recently received a little extra cash and we decided that we would get each other a gift. My gift of course is detailing products, but I want to do this right. I do not really know what is what other than OTC stuff. I know alot of the OTC products are very good, but I have also read about other products that seem to blow this stuff right off the map when it comes to quality. My question is this...

If you guys could make a complete detailing package for your vehicle, what type of product list would you put together? This will all be applied by hand with no rotary tools involved. I would like to cover the car from head to toe including wells, tires, wheels, interior, trim, engine, paint, etc...

So what list would you guys make that would be the best of the best?

Assuming all OTC here is what I would do.

This thread will also be helpful

Wash: Meguiars NXT

Clay: Clay magic or mothers

Polish: scratch x and color x

Wax: NXT paste

Windows: Invisible glass

Trim, wheels, interior, and wheel wells: 303 aerospace protectant

APC: Simple Green

Wheel Cleaner: Eagle One A2Z or meguiars hot rims.

MISC: plastic bottels for different dilutions of Simple Green, MF towels, Terry towels for tires and engine. Quick detailer like meguiars quik detailer or #34.

Thats what I thought of quick.

There are some great sponsors here that have kits that for you doing a couple of cars would last a long time.....Wolfgangs comes to mind and is great product.....Steve at Poorboys can do the same for you.....

Im sorry guys. Maybe I wasnt clear in my post. I was speaking of products that are NOT OTC. I was looking for some products that are online, that you guys reccomend. They can be OTC as well, I just want the best of the best. These products will be used strictly on my truck, and not for other cars. I want the best for my truck, I just dont know what the best products are.

Nice! I have a question though. Since I have been using the Michelin brake dust repelent, will that in any way harm the PB Wheel Sealant? Also, what is the opinion of using P21S as a pure carnuba wax? Is it simply overpriced or does it live up to its hefty price tag?

If you want to switch to PB's just wash and polish your wheels. Then apply 3 coats of wheel sealant. apply to all 4 wheels, remove, reaply, remove and then reapply after 24 hours. I havent used p21s but im sure its good. I woudl try max wax. I think its about the same as p21s. But remember its not the wax that gives you the bling, its the process.
