Recently i purchased all these products. Which one you guys recommend is best for following:



-Cleaning wheel wells: i think OPC would be best at full strength

-Door jams: Not sure which one to use

-Quick detailer: I knw speed shine is a quick detailer but ONR can also be used as a quick detailer so which . one u guys recommend?

-To clean exhaust pipe before polishing: I knw OPC would be best for this but at what dilution ?

I own all three products. I generally keep a spray bottle of the OPC mixed at 1:4 (IIRC). Doesn't their label have some dilution guidelines, Mr Ganja? I think the strongest you might use that product would be 1:2.



Is your wheel well cleaning adventure a one-time thing or a weekly thing? I would probably use left over soap solution in my foam gun + a brush.



I keep a dedicated bottle of ONR/QEW mixed at 150% strength for door jambs unless you're dealing with something really toxic. Then you could use a de-greaser like OPC, but that would not be weekly. (Isn't your car fairly new?)



The Griot's is an excellent QD, probably one of the best. You can use ONR as a QD, also for claying.



Exhaust tips are chrome or just raw metal? No reason you can't get some strong OPC going here to get things cleaned up. I like a metal polish (on chrome) with some degree of protection so I don't have to address this each week.



I think you should be able to get a conventional car wash locally vs. importing small bottles of stuff. Do you have access to a hose, etc?
 
The GG Speed shine has worked great for me as a drying step QD during ONR wash on top of Souveran carnuabua surface. I like the FK425 QD or Meguairs UQD for sealant surfaces though as the GG SS is a little grabby in my experience on sealants. I use ONR for everything and it works well, too. I haven't found a need for OPC yet.
 
Wheel wells and exhaust - OPC at 3:1.



Door jams and quick detailer: Griots speed shine. You can use ONR too, but speed shine will leave the surface slicker and leaves behind a touch of protection. If your door jams are really dirty you can clean them up the first time with OPC at 3:1 and then use speed shine from there out.



I'd save the ONR for doing full car washes with a bucket or for use a clay lube. I also spray some ONR at detail spray strength onto the front of the car to loosen up the bugs if I drove through a bug storm before doing a regular wash.

Thx for ur reply. On OPC bottle it says to use it at full strength for wheel wells?



Also is it okay to use 0000 steel wool with OPC on exhaust? I heard steel wool might scratch?
 
You could dilute the OPC further for wells assuming you are PWing them out first. That way you can make more dilutions.



GG speed shine as a QD and window cleaner. ONR for clay lube and jamb drying.
 
For both wheelwells and doorjambs, what I use will depend on the condition of what I'm cleaning.



Doorjambs- Generally, I do one heavy-duty cleanup and then polish/LSP just like the rest of the car. Then I clean with a small BHB and shampoo solution. I use a spritz of QD while drying.



Wheelwells- On my more pampered cars I LSP/etc. the wells and use a sorta-strong shampoo mix to clean. On "normal drivers" I use a diluted APC sprayed on with Under-Leaf Sprayer - Lee Valley Tools and agitate with a BHB or other brush.



I use OPC straight when I need its power, otherwise (and much more often) I use some cheaper APC.



I don't use ONR as a QD except for cases where I need to spot-clean something that's pretty nasty.
