GG 6 inch DA comes with 10 pads of my choice - which ones and in what quantity?

JJH- Orange, green, either blue or black (or both so you can compare 'em). But skip the yellow cutting pads. And note that with M105 (and to a lesser extent M205) you'll need a *LOT* of pads. Even if you stop to clean 'em out all the time, "more pads than you'd ever imagine" will come in handy.

Orange * 5; Green *3; Blue/Black *2 ....something like that is how I'd do it.

But consider whether you'll be doing final passes with the M205 on a finishing pad (blue/black).

FWIW, I end up doing 99% of my sealant applications by hand, and I'm generally a "do it all by machine"-type of guy (I do *waxes* by machine almost exclusively).

I've actually read that the yellow Uber pads (which are rebranded Buff and Shine pads) finish out a lot better than the equivalent yellow pads in the LC line up - in fact I read a lot of recommendations for yellow, green and black for the Buff and Shine line.

Ah, OK....I have zero experience with the Uber pads, so listen to umi000 instead of me :D Gotta watch that, generalizing about pads based on just the color....

Hehe, I haven't used them either, though I do have some 4" ones (in yellow, green and black). I believe that Ken (detailfanatic) uses them extensively - might be worth the OP's time sending him a PM.
