Gate Night ...Bad news Good News

Last night my mom's Caddy (which I keep outside the shop) was egged :mad: ...man was i pissed when i saw that this morning and it was 36* out ... good news is I went to a DIY wash with some APC in hand and it all washed off with no damage :rockon

anyone else have any problems last night :confused:
 
None last night but the little buggers will be out tonight...I have both my cars in the garage...except the new addition to the family..my FNL car...I'll keep an eye out for egging...what I don't understand?

Eggs aren't cheap!!

ain't that the truth ..if kids had to go into a store on Gate Night and buy the eggs they would be about as embarrassed as if they were going to buy condoms:redface: :lol2:

I never egged but there are a few things I did I'm not too proud of. :notme:
 
I knew this kid that lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. He was gonna egg cars while driving. While he was driving, he had an egg in his hand and was rolling down the windw when a car cut me off :notme: :ass . He had to pitch the egg and it hit inside his window.
 
Not sure about this year, but on some previous years the grocery stores had "restricted" sales of eggs. No more than a dozen per person and only if they were adult. I think this may have been discontinued as discriminatory. (and I think some people had a few cases "fermenting" for a few weeks before anyway.)
 
Gate night? Is this some event prior to Halloween? We do not have any specific mischief prior to Halloween.

Gate Night is the night previous to Halloween ...from my understanding (not pure fact) that the gates of hell are opened at midnight for a short period and chaos rules...typically growing up there were a few different types of mischief ...egg throwing , TPing houses and trees, and one of my favorites was ring and run (door bells)

I haven't had this specific problem but I can tell you first hand that a similar situation with a bottle rocket in place of the egg is a very bad thing. :D
