I met Garry at his shop before I knew who he was, and I was unaware of the GDWM, juice, clip, etc. I was just buying $50 of pads, from the girl in the front office, when Garry heard us talking and came out to offer the most excellent assistance and conversation. He never once tried to promote himself or his juice, wash method, etc. He just wanted to make sure I had the pads I needed. A while later, getting into these forums and whatnot, I found "he's that guy". Super nice gentleman.
 
I use a modified method of garry's and I'm sure heaven forbid, someone will not like it here. I fine polish my car every 6-9 months and use various coatings and sealants, I like to screw with it. The point is I'm not worried about micro scratching. The only thing I adopted from Garry was "never put wash media back in the bucket, throw it in the "to be laundered" bucket."

I use duragloss rinseless, 7 microfibers on a car that is never really dirty. I dry with Prima Hydro or Aquawax. The car always comes out amazing:

As I said above, I'll never use a hose again in my situation.

Glen ... do you experience any windshield wiper issues due to the "Aquawax" in the Duragloss Rinseless?

I use a variation of the method, and yes, thick & plush is right. I use the very soft and thick 100% polyester "spa towels" from Harbor Freight. 4 dedicated towels in the soap for rockers only.
 
I have tried the method a few times. Maybe I'm old fashion but I enjoy the 3 bucket wash method with a pressure washer. Now in the summers here you are fine with using his wash method because the vehicles don't get extremely dirty. Where I live though there are no restrictions on water so that comes into play. The next thing is we have bad winters and unless you wash the vehicle daily free flowing water is the only way as they get too dirty too quickly to use his wash method. For a light wash I'll use his method. Medium to heavy... Standard wash method for me. Now if I lived someplace nicer (maybe in the future) I would use his method more frequently.
