"GarageProtector" comments/experience?

Given the application/Cure time, and dubious results with 2 part epoxy paints, I've been looking at alternative solutions for my new 1100 sf floor. Has anyone had experience with this company's product?

After reading a previous thread (via search) from October, I have a better idea of what to expect - ply wood for jackstands is a great idea. But...



I'm also getting a 'portable' Rotary Scissor Lift... I'm wondering how well it will roll over this mat? The two small wheels on this 800/900 lb piece will focus alot of pressure in small areas

If I remember correctly, there are several people here that have used this type of product. If you could find them through the search feature, a PM to them might get you some specific answers to your questions. Some actual owner experiences may change the way the product is thought of, good or bad.

with the scissor lift, you'll crush the ribbed areas on the matts.... nothing that tires won't do over a period of time as well, but just fair warning. PM ShowroomLincoln about these as well, I believe he has one in his garage.



I'm interested to know this stuff as well as I'm considering one in my garage project as well.

SLD is correct, a scissor lift would destroy the ribs of the mat and likley cause damage at the contact points of the wheels. I don't think I would try it.



Overall the mat has been very good. Mine has been down for about a year and hot tires DO still crush some of the ribs and there are a few tire marks in it. However, there are no tears and it has held up well to Motor Oil, Anitfreeze, Salt and other things. I would still make the purchase again if I had the chance, it does it's job and protects the floor. I think it's a worthy investment. :up
