Hey all. Does anyone know of a carnuaba wax that I can get at pep boys or wal mart or someplace similar that doesan't stain plastic trim? I already use Klasse and love it but a friend want's to use carnuaba and I don't have an answer for him. Shine on everyone! :p

Well, tell your friend he/she can have the best of both world, protection of Klasse and the look of carnauba with a topper of carnauba. I recommend either Blitz or Souveran as the carnauba topper.

Locally try Meguiars #26, I never had it stain trim for me, but I never had it touch trim. I apply it with care to avoid the trim. I got my #26 at an autozone (1999.) You van always look into bodyshops and NAPA for the mirror glaze and pro line of Meguiars, they might carry it.

Mask off the trim with tape?
Other than that, can't really help much.

I am going to roder product from www.topoftheline.com www.properautocare.com maybe www.yosteve.com soon (within 2 months.) On my list so far, from CMA 1 gallon EF Hi, one bottle SG, from TOL tire brush, inteiror brush and maybe Hi-temps smaple selection, and from yosteve towels :) So if you need one item, I will gladly get it and you can paypal me for the product and $3.50 priority shipping.

The 3M Perfect-It Paste Show Car wax is a good choice for store bought, as is the Meguiar's #26 or maybe Mother's Pure Carnauba paste.

for old lady cleanups I highly recommend hi temps one step surface sealant......easy to use, and has decent durability......

Let me tell you a secret... the good folks who make P21S also make a line of products for motorcycles called S100. The S100 wax is the same as the P21S wax... but the list price is only $14.95. IMHO, this wax is second only to Pinnacle Souveran. At $14.95, it's a deal and a half!

Check out www.hawg-wash.com.

Okay I received a call from a brokerage firm in Canada and there is a car down here that has just been imported to the states. The G is at a company that does all the DOT and EPA things to make it legal. The Wagen is a 2 door model with a canvas roof, that roof has a lot of light scratches ALL over it. I told her there probably wasn't much I could do with the scratches in the fabric. She said there was a product out there that would at least minimize the appearance of the scratches. So my question is, what product out there could I use to get this top looking better? I have Ragg top but just their cleaner and protectant and I know that won't do anything with this top.

Here are some pics.
