Car belongs to a buddy of mine. About 35k on the clock and for the most part, paint is still in good condition. Simple wash and wax and did a quick hit on the interior but no pics.
Alrite guys quick question: I know it says don't use tire shine on tire thread surfaces but does anyone else do them? I do them because I think it looks like crap when everything else is clean except the treads. I know they'll get just as dirty after they drive it but upon presentation it makes it look so much better. Thoughts?
Well i dont because the tire shine that i use is pretty slick and oily on your hands. I just wouldnt want to risk anything. But its gonna get dirty anyways so i think its a waste.
if i got a car detailed by a guy who shines up my treads. i woudl look at him like an idiot and regret giving him my car to detail. why in the world woudl u want to waste expensive tire shine on ur tread which will come off very quickly and that puts danger to the driver?
I only apply tire shine to tread at car shows. As stated earlier, it improves overall presentation. When detailing, try applying to the outside, or first section on tread. Looks good and does not cause any problems.
