Ok, I got a call just now from a friend of mine who has a awesome red 69 Mustang all custom. He has 2001 Stang suspension and a 4.6L in it. I guess he tried to get down his lawn equipment and knocked over a 16 ounce can of primer and it is all over the side of the car. He said he tried to hose it fof real fast but it was already set up. I told him to start with clay but what do you all recommend for this?

Thanks!

Is it latex primer, acrylic based? It dries soo fast, but will come off painted surfaces even when it has dried. I used a QD and a WW MF for some extra scrub. Clay should work very well.

I don't think it will permenately bond as the clear coat was not prepared to be a substrate for most primers.

Prep-Sol or a similar product should get it off . Heck you could even use some paint thinner.
