May 4, 2007 #1 C CelicaPhong New member Let say i get a bumper repaint or something. How long should I wait b4 thinking of detailing the car. And is it normal that a brand new paint already have swirls ? they just did a bad job at cleaning it didnt they ?

May 4, 2007 #2 S stiffdogg06 New member I think it 30-60days to let the clear cure... Maybe its 90 days not sure. It's one of them You can polish all you want I think, but you CAN'T use a sealant or wax. It will stop the clear from curing properly. if there are scratches already on the bumper, they might have given it a "NICE" "COMPLIMENTARY" buffing.
