Fresh Paint and Visor

Hi Everybody, I'm posting in here to seek advice on what I should do.

Basically I received a got a new hood that was freshly painted about 2 weeks ago. Now I got my car back, I realized when they did a quick wash, they left damn micro scratches everywhere. i can see marks everywhere on my car. I am not happy about this, especially the fresh paint on the hood. I know I can't wax the hood, what do I do in this situation?

I'd just wait until the paint on your hood has cured enough to polish and then polish the whole vehicle. Either that or just polish everything else and then wait for the hood to cure (ask your paint shop what the cure time is on the clear coat or paint before you can polish) before you do that. Otherwise you could use a glaze on the rest of the vehicle to hide the scratches while you wait for the hood to be ready so you can polish the whole vehicle at the same time.

This. I'm a big fan of using fresh-paint-friendly glazes during the curing/outgassing period. They provide a modicum of protection (or at least a sacrificial layer) and they make things look OK (at least between washes).

I'd go to the local autobody/paint supply store and buy some Meguiar's M05 New Car Glaze, but others are happy with other, similar products.

Oh, and Welcome to Autopia, infinitetek!
