Took the day off yesterday... Detailed my ride and finished just as the sun was going down. (Took me about 3 hours total) Front bumper and grille was a beast. Anyway, I got these pics and they turned out surprisingly well. Perfect lighting conditions even though it got a little dusty on the way to the photo spot. Nothing a little QD can't handle...

Process...

Dawn wash

Clay

DACP / PC / maroon pad

#9 2.0 / polishing pad

#26 applied with PC and removed by hand

Scratch X + #26 on wheels

Armor All tires and exterior trim

NXT glass cleaner on windows

Beautiful! :bow

#9 and #26 may be a combo from the olden days but damn!, it still looks as good on black as anything else does. :)

Yeah, I just started using that combo a few months ago and am getting better beading, longer lasting depth with #26. Pretty good combo as I'm not the one to venture out on a wide range of products. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

LOL 01lue, yeah, it was kinda cold that day and you know how cold weather speeds up whatever you're doing outside. I know this car up and down and the swirls were pretty tamed so I didn't have to spend a lot of time on each panel.

Hondaguy, no engine mods and will not do any. Got about $800 saved up towards a B16A swap and will build from there. I love my OEM tails and wouldn't trade them for anything else. :D Slamming it on coilovers soon... :up

So that's what a properly modded civic looks like! Looks nice and mean....subtle yet effective! Very nice civic!
