FPII / NXT Paste on a Snaab 9-3

Joe: Have you tried using AIO under it? I know that Meguiar's polishes leave a touch of polishing oils on the surface (in my experiences) whereas Menzerna leaves bare paint. This could constitute to your troubles. I was rather happy with application and removal (shady out and 55*).
 
^ I applied it over 3M PI-III MG IIRC and it was in the winter time in the garage. The temps could have had something to do with it. I will give it a go this weekend, I have some Mother's day details coming up!!

About the NXT paste: Did you apply with a damp applicator? How was the slickness after removal?
 
Dry, brand new applicator. The slickness was very good. I'd say around a 7 out of 10.

Have you ever used Menzerna FTG and FMJ on the Saab? How does FMJ and NXT paste compare? Is FMJ brighter and glossier while NXT paste is darker and richer?

i saw the NXT paste at my local Wal-Mart this past weekend. i was kinda tempted to pick it up since Scott suggested it. but i had to pass, too many waxes/sealants, too little cars! ;)
