FPII and Wool is Cool

Anymore I don't participate in this board as much as I used to (no time), but whenever I come across something good, I like to share my findings. FPII has proved to be my favorite product to use with wool - it just seems to have the perfect "working properties" and does not clump up the wool like most products, and of course it finishes down very well given the superlative abrasives used in FPII. Of course it doesn't cut quite as much as a heavy compound, but it finishes down sooo much better; and I feel most of the cut comes from the wool and not the product anyways (wool with light polish cuts much faster than compound and a foam pad, hence the big factor being the wool itself).

And yes, I'm a huge fan of the PO106FF (have been since the day it was released on CMA), but it really doesn't work well with wool (all the ceramic particle polish/compounds clumps up way too much for my liking)...and they're too expensive for me to use with wool.

I'm a big fan of FPII...

What wool pad are you using it with? I've got some medium marring from a few hasy washes I'll need to take care of in spring (or June, knowing our weather...).

I've been using the Edge two-sided wool pads. I have black (heaviest cut) and blue (blend...lightest cut), but I really can't tell a difference between the two in regards to cut...which makes it all the crazier that they have 4 or 5 different grades of wool.

Rag, Are you using a rotary? What type of wool pad? Also your saying it finishs down to your LSP? Even on black?

Menzerna Final Polish 2 or Menzerna Final Polish II

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Absolutely it does not finish down on black, foam and PO106FF are required for me. I suppose you could finesse it and get close, but I don't even try.
