Found some old MF towels...keep or toss?

I found some MF towels in my garage. They were used about 1-1.5 years ago and have various products on them (SSR2.5, SSR1, AIO, Vanilla Moose glaze, s100 are the products i was using at the time).

they are really good towels, i dont remember which brand they are, but they are dark green (the high quality ones at the time) as well as a blue WW, and they came from Dwayne. I also have a few yellow ones from Adams Polishes.

Will they still be good to use, or should I toss them? How should I wash them if im keeping them?

Thanks

btw i ordered some DMT's from PB, so the ones i found will mainly be backups, but i still want them to be in top notch shape.

I would give them a good washing, if they are in realy good shape and are stiff soft then I would use them on paind. If they are a bit rougher then use them on wheels and ineteriors. No point in wasteing them

Absolutely! I have some that are 4 years old and I use them regularly.
Good MF towels might wear out, but they should last several years without any aging problems.

cool, thanks guys:thumbup:
After giving this some more thought, I have reconsidered my advice.
Rather than take the chance of doing some damage to your vehicle, you probably should just box them up and send them to me.
You can PM me for my address.:)

And yes, I'm joking.

i got some old rags and t shirts i can send you:smile

I would wash them in hot water...fill the washer before adding them, add some APC to the wash/soap , then do an extra rinse session and re-evaluate them after they are dried. If they are nice, clean and soft continue to use them, if not then use them for interiors, wheels and jambs :)

i thought not washing in hot water was a MF cardinal rule. Not questioning the advice, since its comming from you, just confused:confused:

Ill give your method a try PB, thanks
