The Old Grey Whistle Test

The most difficult for me to do is not look at the finishing results before I watch the delayed broadcast, due to the time differences.

This year may be very interesting.

Last year was a surprise with teams such as Lotus having some top notch finishes.

I am all excited to see if some of the new rules and regulations, a couple of driver changes will close up the field's end results.

Like, "did Hamilton make the right move?", is Massa, since he still has his ride, going to get some good finishes, is Weber going to pick it up and go after his team mate?

Etc, it may be a more interesting year than in the past since Schummy and his years at the top.

Not a good sign for everyone else when Red Bull start the season on top. Not sure who to pull for, Lewis is my favorite, but my favorite team is McClaren. Also a huge fan of Kimi. Alonzo is maybe the best driver in the field, and I admire his abilities, but can't stand Ferrari. So here's hoping Jensen Button takes it all, but not looking good in week 1 for the Woking team.

What with Speed being done over by Fox and losing the broadcast right, my question is "who will be the race commentators?"

I really enjoyed the guys who did it for Speed, after David Hobbs, etc!

They know the venue, the past, the present.

I like PGA golf as well, and NBC will use Johnny Miller for their "pro" commentator and sorry, to me he is like listening to chalk squeak on a black board.

You younger guys probably didn't have those in school, but it makes your ears hurt.

I can only hope that they can bring that crew of people back for the F1 races!
