Forever black tire gel

Did not try it yet, but heard good things about it. I do not understand though how it can go through multiple washes and is water-based. Ah, marketing :P
 
Because it's pretty much like paint. I've used it. Not impressed. The Forever Black Trim restorer is pretty much the same way. It makes it black, but you're painting it with something, not quite sure what it is.

Where it did work well is I had what looked like a light colored splatter on black trim on an interior seat track. But the splatter had actually lightened the plastic trim. There it worked well, with a foam brush as an applicator. Again, just like paint.
