Foreign matter in sheepskin mitts?

I got some sheepskin mitts from autogeek and upon close inspection and going through the fibers with my fingers, I found a few small strands of what almost resembled pieces of pine needles. Anyone know what this is from?

I haven't heard that about AG mitts yet, but I know the VROOM brand from target had reports of pine needles in them. Here's the thread if you want read through it:

That's just general warehouse crap in there. Just wash it out. I got some stuff today with a very slight amount of that stuff caught in the fibers, nothing too unusual.

You should always inspect, and you cant really blame AG, they get there while the little buggers are grazing......! There just weeds or feed........

i, along with a few others had this problem with the vroom sheepskin mitts for target.

I always wash my new mitts in the washing machine before the first use. The stuff came off an animal, and then went through factories and warehouses. You might try that to see if it cures the problem.
