Ford f-150 Plastic bed rails?????

:nixweiss Hello guys Well I had a nice Black ford F-150. It had been cleaned and waxed before by someone and it has wax inbedded in the plastic bed rail covers.Does anyone have any ideas of a way that I could get this old wax out.I tried alcohol but it didnt clean any of it out . Thanks for any help

I was going to suggest alcohol, but you already tried that. So I think at this point the wax has stained the bed rails and probably won't come out.... Replacing them might be your only option. )c:

I had a problem like this and what seemed to take out most was Duragloss water spot remover and 3M wax and adhesive remover. Started with the 3m (its aerosal), and then went to the DG. Almost all of it came out.

Use a mr clean magic eraser, slightly dampened. It should work like a charm.

+1 A magic eraser + IPA did wonders on a mudguard of mine I had stupidly brushed with wax a long time ago. not quite "perfect," but 90% better than it used to be.

Just be careful to not rub it on the paint.
