Ford Escape easter egg.

Her 12 Ford Escape did not come with a owners manual. So when something is in question, i get the on-line manual. I was looking at it over the weekend, and found a really good feature. In the back cargo area, behind a panel, is a removable small white funnel! It's there in case you ever run out of gas. Then you have a easy way to pour from the can to the tank. Bet over half of 12 and down Escape owners don't even know it's there!

My Transit Connect has the same thing. I suspect it's because the vehicle doesn't have a gas cap and the door that closes the pipe seals tight enough that the EVAP system won't leak air (which trips a CEL) and subsequently gas can't get down the tube without it.
