Ford Edge one step + interior

"Luck" Residue of design
Here's today's work. It's a Ford edge year unknown (I forgot to look) but it looks pretty new. This car was a one step and full interior job.

Wash with Megs Deep Crystal and PB chenille wash mitt.

wheels cleaned with Citra=Plus citrus cleaner and various brushes

Clayed with S.M. Arnold medium clar using ONR as lube

PB PWS with orange LC VC 5.5" pad on Flex 3401

trim got Opti-Bond

Tires got PB B&B as well as the wells

Interior cleaned with various brushes and Cyclo with carpet brushes installed.

Citra-Plus citrus cleaner used for all interior cleaning

Another satisfied customer, now I'm heading out to see a Frank Zappa tribute show featuring Ike Willis and Ray White.:rockon: Thanks for looking

The seats hadn't completely dried at the time I took the after photos so you can see a wet spot in the pics of the back seats. Again Thanks for looking, TD
 
That material on those seats can be a major pain to clean..it shows every little water spots and anything else
 
As Beemerboy mentioned, I am curious has to how those seats finally dried. Especially that lighter colored material can present a few headaches restoring it to a uniform appearance.

It also hasn't escaped my notice your new found (assumption - just noticed your mentions) APC. It says it is a citrus based cleaner. Is it really a di-limonene based product? I buy a di-limonene concentrate product but primarily reserve it for household duties. It also dilutes similarly, but it is much pricier. So how much of this stuff have you gone through? Are you satisfied? I'm only curious, I don't do PayPal anymore so I probably won't try it myself.
 
For seats like those and that of the new GM's, I've always spot cleaned the stains, and then mist the entire surface with water. Than, extract across the entire surface. More often than not this has worked for me. Anyone else have other tricks that are quicker?
The biggest pain is you want to do this early enough in your detail so that you can see that the seats dry spot-free. But then as you're working in the interior, any drips like from aerosols/sprays/etc. leave new water spots.

I couldn't really tell you if it has that stuff in it because neither the bottle or the MSDS lists that as an ingredient. I will be seeing the client this week and will ask him how the seats dried as I have a feeling the method that I used didn't completely remove a few of the larger stains. It looked in person like they were gone but in the pics it looks like they are still there.
 
Yech...that thing was NASTY!! Hyundai has started using that fabric now and that's one reason why insisted on my new Santa Fe being the Limited trim. It has leather!!!
 
Looks great Dave, I love that pws as a 1 step, It seems to be a staple for that process here as well. I have not tried other 1 step products to do any comparisons with call me cheep, but if it's not broke don't fix it...:bigups
