For those with an Air Wand...

Is it maneuverable (sp?) enough to dry the roofs of a minivan or SUV? My family has a Toyota Sienna and a Lexus GX470 and I was wondering if I'd still have to towel dry the tops of them. The length of the tube in the video doesn't look very long...any feedback would help for sure! Thanks!

Also, I've searched for threads on the Air Wand and have come up only with a few helpful threads, but for those that have them, can you guys post your impressions on it and describe the ease of use, value, and ability to dry the car? Can you dry within 5 minutes and walk away or is a WW needed to dry anything? Wouldn't the AIr Wand result in streakless windows? Thanks again!

I have a Honda Odyssey and can get the roofs pretty well. It will blow the water out of the window seals and side view mirrors quite well. I still go over with an mf towel- ww a bit much because the Wand does get so much water off the car. I have very hard water here in CA, so even one spot shows within a few hours. If I had better water, I wouldn't have to be so anal about it.

It works best if I start at the top and go straight down and then another pass. I used to go down the direction of the car, but it was not as efficient.

Thanks for the response Rob. So you're saying you went from the roof down to the side of the car, instead of roof to windshield?

Anyone else that would like to chime in?

I do go down from the back of the roof towards the windshield. Once that is done, I go from the edge of the roof straight down towards the ground rather than a diagnal line or straight from back to front.
