I had a customer ask me about detailing their boat and RV and i have no idea how much i should charge for either. I also would like to know what all steps you do when you detail an RV. Thanks for your help.

I'm may be doing my 1st motor home also it's a ( 36'ftr) He says it's in good condition. I phoned a local detailer who charges $300.00 for an exterior wash & hand wax for Coach's that are in good condition and $250 for the interior. She recommends that I "go see it first." I plan to visit the prospective client tommorrow. I can tell you that I won't wax it by hand......I'll definately use my PC on it. I'd also like to hear what others might be doing. Terry

I'll be doing a 'small' RV today. It is a Rialta, on a VW chassis! I'm guessing it is about 23'.

Just wash and wax. I'll use the PC to apply Meg's NXT. And a ladder.

I charge by the foot $2.00 for a wash and $7.00 for wash and wax. Sometime RV's can be a PITA if they have not been taken care of.

When you say you charge by the foot, do you mean bye the square foot or just by how long it is?

$12.00-$12.50 per foot....Otherwise you kill yourself for nothing....

A good product i have found, and use on my RV is Duponts Spray Wax...Just dont get it on black ! Its not black surface friendly !!
