I must say thank you, for one for everyone turning me one to the DG line and two, for Car Quest making it alittle easier on the pocket to try :)

Picked up the car wash, as a replacement for the Zaino, I must say that DG will now be my go to was. Now for my question( you knew one was coming)



I have been using the Zaino line, everything all the was up to CS. Well I have z6 and z8, I love both and use the z8 as more of a booster for my Cs, plus both z6 and z8 are alittle costly to use as a everyday QD. Do you think using AW would have any effect on my CS sealed surface. Would it limit the bonding of anything Zaino later, or would a good Z6 wipe down followed by the CS be fine?

AW will not affect the CS surface, and it will not limit the bonding of Zaino later. DG products play very well with Zaino, and the AW will work perfectly fine without needing to top it with Z6 or anything else first, before you add CS or the other Z sealants.



You really should try the DG 105 sealant....IMO it works as well as Zaino, and is a lot cheaper. Also, the DG Fast Clean and Shine QD spray is comparable to Z6 (although much cheaper!), you might like it quite a bit too!

Glad to hear of your good luck with Duragloss. Some of their other products are really great also.



#105 sealant - by far the most durable product that I have ever used.



Non-silicone dressing - Great long lasting dressing, perfect for exterior trim and tires (lasts longer on tires than any other product that I've used)



Leather cleaner and conditioner - Conditioner leaves a nice shiny finish, but is not slick or oily. Good smell also.
 
Thanks from me as well. I've been keeping my local CaQuest in business:) Currently have 101, 108, (2) 105, 2 AW, Car Wash, etc. I love it all.

Very true! While the 105, AW, CWC, and FC&S are their standout products, there are a few others that are really worthy of use. I really like their dressings as well, and I mostly use the UD (vinly and leather dressing) for the leather and all interior surfaces of the car. I love how it looks and it lasts as long as anything I've used in the past. I put it up there with 303 Aerospace, IMO... I also like their non-silicone dressing for the tires...leaves a very nice look and lasts longer than most. I agree on the leather products also. Both the cleaner and conditioner work very well for me and the conditioner smells just like real leather. Smells and works almost just like the similar Zaino offering to me... Those are the other products that are not discussed to much, but also work as well and anything I've ever used in the past, boutique or OTC...
 
What is the CWC ?



I'm about to place an order.



I have been so impressed with their stuff , pricing and conversations and help from Bill & Jerry. Honestly their product line has impressed me more than any of the high priced boutique stuff I've used.
 
CWC is Car Wash Concentrate, a.k.a. #901 or #902...I buy it by the gallon :D



And, I completely agree about DG replacing the boutique products in my arsenal also. I have a lot of experience with a lot of products (both OTC and boutique), and I'm increasingly finding that boutique merely means "higher priced", not necessarily higher performance, although there are one or two exceptions....
 
Sorry to revive and old thread, but do to the reviews here and other places, I ordered some Duragloss products from them after just finishing the car with Zaino and now being nearly out.



Since I was nearly out of 303 carpet and upholstery cleaner as well, I orderded some Duragloss 451 carpet and upholstery cleaner. This is a cool product! It comes out as a light foam spray, and about 20 seconds after it is applied, the foam is gone and the dirt is resting on top of the carpet like tiny little pellets almost. Combined with a bissell, it takes seconds to pull out, a really amazing product!



Also, my personal experience with Aquawax, although I like the feeling, etc. after the first 2 times I have used it over the Zaino Z5/Z2, is that the Z8 SEEMS to be slightly more resistant to dust, as I have done a 1/2 and 1/2 test on the car. Although for the price and convenience, I would certainly be happy to use AW when my Z8 runs out.



One question, I understand that many people have talked about the protection from AW and how long it lasts. My question is, if you have a good sealant on underneath, how can you tell how long the AW or anything else is lasting on top of it?
 
I've used DG products for about 8 or 9 years and have always had great results with them. Its just a great product line thats OTC that really delivers.

I've done this , stripped everything off and just used the AW for a few months. Worked awesome. I'm slowly trying different products and really have not had anything YET that I didn't love.

i use AW with Z-CS no probs:)



i have used AW before CS and after CS and find it is full compatible:)



In fact, i find that AW makes Z-CS much slicker when applied over the top:)

I'm currently doing this. I've got nothing on the car but AW and it's great I think it last longer by itself and it's super slick.
 
105 looks better, lasts longer and is easier to apply and remove than 845. 845 does nothing for me. I have tried it four times on three different cars. I'm not crazy about the look, and I don't get 6 months out of it like some people claim. It's thick, smells, difficult to apply and remove.



105 is outstanding. My favorite sealant. Very slick and massive beading. Highly recommended.
