Noting that I`ve done plenty of uhm...irresponsible stuff...on public roads, that was my take-home from that too. Reminds me of the Dodge commercials that I would`ve found *SO COOL* at one time but now consider irresponsible. Eh, yeah...I know, I know...I`m just no fun any more.
Sigh..this is why I keep saying how I simply cannot enjoy Serious Street Cars these days
By the time I`m not stressing out over forcing myself to be responsible I`m in "Go Directly to Jail" territory (don`t want one *my* cars impounded thank you very much, wouldn`t enjoy being taken into custody either).That would sure make for a nice Track Day toy though or even a DD in some unrestricted environment. Wonder how well-sorted it really is...

0-150 in around 17-18 seconds for a stock Z06. That would be hard to resist. That Z06 was probably even faster. My license and job would be in jeopardy.

I love the idea of closing off the interstate for a high speed run. How would one propose this to your nearest State Patrol/police for said closure

They do that in a few places, and I gather the whole thing *is* rather pricey (that`s how the sell it to the powers-that-be, as a fund raiser).
