Well said Stokdgs.This is so true we would not be doing what we love without all those brave men and woman. Thank you to all who served and are serving you are true heroes.
 
To my friends and my brother who gave it to the max I thank you and I`ll be joining you all soon.

Eh, I never post much to these threads as I feel I don`t have anything worth saying or at least not something that won`t just sound like trite soundbites.

This grateful civilian is simply awed by the sacrifices that so many have made, and continue to make. People who don`t have to do it (these days) are still dying for our country while most of us just sit idly by and reap the benefits while fussing about unimportant [stuff].

Special appreciation to those who decorate the graves of Veterans for Memorial Day. Seeing all those flags, and knowing that so many of them represent those KIA, is profoundly moving to me. I like to think that for at least a little while every May, America sits up and takes notice.
