Foot rests and pedals!

First of all happy new year from all in UK. Whats everybody using for those black, sctratched foot rests and large accelerator pedals!. Obviously you canot use anything thats going to cause the foot to slip off. After ive finished the interior these always look tired and dull. Also any advice on those usual shoe scuff marks on the door trim, some seem to come off with my normal cleaner while some will not budge at all.

I'm not sure how long the look lasted, but I did a Honday Odyssey last month and tooks some 1z Cockpit Premium to the rubber pedals and they cleaned up nicely. The nice thing about Cockpit is that it leaves a matte finish, so you don't have to worry about your foot slipping off when you're breaking...yeah, that'd be a little bad!!! I know what you mean though, you'll look down around the floorboard and all the plastic/vinyl trim is cleaned up looking sharpt, spot cleaned/vacuumed carpets, then you see these nasty looking pedals. That's when I tried out the Cockpit.
