Follow up: Detailing noob

Ok so my last thread was a pretty big fail, I blame it on myself because there was just too much info crammed in the first post.

So this one will be very simple.

I've decided I'm going to try out the poorboys super swirl removers as I havent

read anything bad about them.

I've read that SSR 1 should really only be considered a "finishing" polish after using

SSR 2.5

Is this the best route to go?

If your a noob, it would be best to post the make, model, and year of your car... that way we can help you coordinate which products will best match with the hardness or softness of your paint. You may be able to get away with 2.5 on a soft vehicle but a harder one may need something else (I personally can't comment on PB's, never used it). Somebody who may have worked on the same car may be able to give you some tips that will help you choose and use the correct products with the correct pads, and the correct process.

Ex. My Impala has HARD GM Clear,... IP on orange is useless... but Megs 83+84 seem to work like a charm.
