Folex or Meguiars APC?

SO I'm looking to buy a carpet cleaner/upholstery cleaner.. I read about FOLEX and it seems to be a pretty nice product for spot clean on carpet and seats..



What about Megs APC? which would would be better? or are they 2 different categories?
 
Having used both I would say they are in different categories. I use Folex as a spot treatment the follow with APC for larger areas.



I have been impressed with how well HD TOTAL works, so also keep that in mind, and it smells a whole lot better than APC.
 
both are nice products, but I find folex easier to rinse even though it doesn't require rinsing. You also don't have to worry about concentration ratios with folex.
 
I use Meguars APC+, as it low foaming for a pre-treating stains. Then I use a Folex solution in my LGM for cleaning the carpet. For cloth seats and vinyl I will use the APC+.
 
Could I use folex as a carpet cleaner instead of a Spot Treatment? say mix it with water and they spray the floor mats down and scrub then rinse... Kind of like a carpet shampoo?



I'm just asking b/c Folex I can pick up easily at Home Depot.. but Meguiars APC I would have to order.. Unless I can pick up from Advanced Auto Parts or something.. Walmart or Target doesn't have it...
