Hey everyone,
Today while washing my Miata I had some trouble with my foam gun. The first amount that I put in created foam just fine (I use Gold Class). I used this as a presoak and did the whole car. Next, I filled it up again by putting the soap in after filling it up and then gave it somewhat of a shake. This is when I had trouble. All that came out was a water/soap mix. No foam. I was wondering if I am using too much soap or if I should put it in the soap before filling the container?
One other problem I've been having is low water pressure. I have well water and the pressure is turned up all the way according to my Dad. The foam out of the gun will travel about a foot and stop. I do have an hose filter on the hose due to hard water and I'm not sure what size hose I have but I'm sure this is part of the problem. Should I invest in this pump from Nothern Tool that I have seen posted before?
Wayne Portable Pump — 1450 GPH, 1/2 HP, 3/4in., Model# PC4 |Electric Powered Water Pumps | Northern Tool + Equipment
Just trying to get my washing technique perfect. Thanks.
