I have to warn you there are going to be a lot of *nice* comments.

NICE job on the video!
NICE truck!
NICE garage!
NICE Shine!

What was your products and process after the foam gun? What position did you have the pin set at?

Nice....really....NICE!

the settings on thr foam gun was set to the lowest setting.1oz/gallon

after drying truck just used spray and gloss quick detailer

i never pre dulute the soap in the foam gun ,as for the 50/50 mix
steve from poorboys said to try it. it works great better suds and will save a little money as the bug squash is a little more $$$$$$ . one thing i did see using ther bug squash ,is let the product do the work.
we have a lot of road salt where we are at and as most people know the road salt is oilly, the bug squash really cuts the oily stuff from the salt

Jeff

I like the video. Did anyone notice when he walked back to the passenger side of the truck for the 2nd time he started to shake up the FG and it went from good suds to a thick foam.

Thanks for making the video - I think it shows the "foam" nicely, but I do have one question - Don't you worry about getting things behind the truck wet washing in your garage??

I know exactly what you mean ..i used to pre-wash with just Bug Squash, but then I had the idea of mixing them as you did, since I use the foam gun mostly as a pre-wash before the bucket wash.

Yep, I sure did notice the foam was thicker on his 2nd trip around, but I really couldn't tell whether he shook it much right before this point.

The foam was thicker because i opened the air valve on the top of the foam gun

Jeff

Please tell me more about this air valve. I think I know what you are talking about. Is it the brass screw sitting on top? If you open it up more, does it make more foam without using more soap?

That brass screw should be checked from time to time, although i have tightned the screw i have found that it came loose on two ocassions.

after this did you just scrubb it down with a wash mitt?

Yes i wash down with a micro fiber mitt / micro fiber sponge

using the 2 bucket method and dried the truck with a asorber towel

Do you just put soap inthere or do you put some water as well.

as far as i know there is no reason to pre mix the soap in the foam gun
with the setting on it I'm only using 1oz of soap per gallon of water
