foam gun leaving dirt on paint

Hi I'm using the pinnacle foam gun and the xtreme foam formula auto shampoo and after I spray the car down and use the mitt on the whole car I rinse and find that dirt that should have been removed is still left on the paint. Im not sure if im using to much soap and its just not removing the dirt or what. Anyone run into this problem? Thanks

they are NOT spray & rinse

you still need to use a wash media of some kind
 
Was your process similar to what is in this video?



I have both the foam gun and the cannon and I like the foam gun when it comes to the step of washing the car with a media. I had a similar thread up for the foam cannon and how good it is when compared to other types of foam, but I decided to try a stronger soap mixture for my next attempt. However, my process is to use foam cannon foam for the pre-soak and then wash using the gilmore foam gun.



Back to your issue, if you are using the process in the video then you should look at you soap mixture. I would think that it is too weak if it is not removing the road grime IMO.

Are you saying there's areas of dirt or dirt all over the car?



I know when my car is covered with foam sometimes I miss a spot with the mitt. So, not all the dirt gets removed. With all the foam on the car it's sometimes hard to see where I've "scrubbed" and where I haven't.

dirt where Ive scrubbed its really strange, almost like the soap is to slick to remove the dirt but that doesnt make sense.
