Floor Prep

I painted my floor before I moved in and did a lousy job. Hot wheel pick up all over. What is the best way to strip it off. Okay what is the easiest way ;) I plan to redo it and follow the directions to a T. No driving on it for 7 days ect... Or can I spot prep the floor? Would staining the concrete be better or since i used paint is it to late?

What paint product did you use? Check with the manufacturer of the paint to see what they recommend for removal. Depending on what you are going to put down over it you may check with that manufacturer also.

Unfortunately I don’t think there is an easy solution. A couple of generic suggestions: A gasoline powered pressure washer (rent the most powerful one you can get) can go a long way in stripping the floor if the paint is lifting this bad. Then apply some type of paint stripper to an remaining patches and generally all over the floor. Let it sit and scrub the s$%t out of it. Power wash again.
