Flex on order

I fluttered my credit card across the internet and ordered a Flex 3401. :woohoo:



I have a quick question about random orbits in general: do you need to be careful around creases and corners, or simply go over them like they were flat?

You have to still be carefully around radius's,corners and creases but not as carefully as you would a rotary. Just do not stay or a corner as long as you would a flat area but the chance of you burning threw with a RO is very slim. Also realize that you do not need to keep the pad on a corner as long as a flat area as all the pressure is being concentrated on a small area so it corrects that area faster.

Just keep the pad flat but still watch out for corners. Remember, the Flex 3401 is a RO and Rotary hybrid so it is possible for it to jump erratically if not used correctly. However, it isnt potentially harmful to burn the paint as a direct drive polisher. Happy detailing!
