Booooo, that's a shame if true. There are PLENTY of entry level polishers. That is not what the "market" needs or wants from Flex. Just look at the Rupes...tons of top of the line, different polishers and they all can do something a little bit different from the other. And they sell! I honestly think a forced rotation mini would be awesome, but that's just my $0.02.
 
There is a cheaper long throw machine out there, but I'm almost positive its NOT Flex. Its a cheaper Chinese polisher that looks like a cross between a Griots and a Rupes.

I haven't heard anything, but I'll let you know guys know if I do (unless I am not allowed to, which might be the case right now, so maybe I do know something).
