I`m not positive about it...but I think all the Flex cordless are free spinning orbitals....if you want forced rotation, you need to go with the corded version

I use the heck out of my cordless Flex CBeast and love the forced-rotation. I don’t use the Flex cordless Finisher (free-spinning) nearly as much but sometimes it is needed.
