FK1000p Prep Questions

Thinking of trying this on my daily driver. I've read a lot that FK 215 is a good prep. My question is, how long do you have to wait after 215 before applying 1000p? Also, would AG SRP be a suitable sub, or even something like MEg's color-X?

I'd stick to fk1 #215 or AG, but any polish will do and you can always just do an IPA wipe down, but you don't really have to.

I wouldn't use the Color-X as it's (meaning the Color-X) basically a cleaner wax.



I've used SRP/FK1000P with good results, but I only tried it on wheels.



Others here have used FK1000P over top of stuff I would have though problematic. I gather it's not as finicky as one might think, but I'd stick with using it over AIO-type products as opposed to wax-like products such as Color-X.

You can use any polish or paint cleaner prior to FK 1000p. I like FK 215 it cleans well I usually wait 20 minutes or so before topping with 1000p

I thought I remembered somebody here using FK1000P after P231s GEPC, but the only leaves-stuff-behind products I've used FK1000P on are Autoglym SRP, KAIO, and ZAIO.

Has anyone used Chemical Guys EZ-Creme underneath FK1000P? My car is due for a spring wax - and it is either Ez-Creme or KAOI.

I use #215 under the 1000P .
