FK better than Meguiar's?

Upon reading the home page of FK, it says...



"After departing from the family business in the early 1960's Floyd L Meguiar set out to create a new company, one that would live up to his grandfathers vision and philosophy "Never sell a product until you are convinced it is the finest product of its kind in the World". From this, in 1964, Finish Kare was born. The vision and philosophy lives on."



Are FK products better than Meguiar's?
 
Coke or Pepsi? Same thing - personally, I like Megs better, more products and they keep introducing new stuff.
 
I have never used any of the FK products. The company isn't even on my radar.



Should I add their line to the review database?
 
I am gonna be using some of their stuff hopefully. Looking forward to trying FK1000/FK425/PW. I have a couple friends living on dusty gravel roads, should be a good challenge.
 
I was a Meg's user for years, since the mid 80's. Then I discovered Autopia, which opened my mind to oodles of products & product lines. Meg's #26 Paste was my first love & go to wax for 10+ years. (Man-carnauba love) Every once in awhile I find myself reaching for #26, and to this day, I have yet to be dis satisfied with the results. Still one of my favorite nubas to use. In fact, I've always had good experiences with Meg's products. #26,#38, all the polishes, even their QD spray (which was the 1st QD I'd ever used) performed just fine. Kind of an emotional question you've asked. "Does anyone FEEL..." I like both product lines, but not equally. For me, the nod goes to the FK line. I "feel" it's a lineup of better quality products from top to bottom. FK gives me more options to choose from in terms of interior & exterior products. Higher in quality as well.
 
From my "research" so far it seems as though they have at least 2 very good products...



FK425 - which a lot of people say is the best detailer they have ever used...

FX217 - which in a head to head match with Zaino Z2 is supposedly better...

IMO, yes. They're pretty well know throughout the internet.
 
For anyone looking to give Finish Kare a shot they got an excellent deal on there sample package for $18 you get 8 products of 4 oz. each (7 are set and the last one you can pick what you want). Pretty cheap for what you get.



Without doing major tests or being a professional detailer I find it very hard to say this is better then that when dealing with quality products from quality company's. Most of us weekend warriors are going to be happy with alot of different products.
