I fixed a square foot area on my car. Then I taped up the surrounding area with some blue masking tape and trash bags, and I painted it.
Now the area i painted is higher than the original paint surrounding the area. I can rub my fingers across the edges where the tape was, and feel it's higher.
Im new to this, so would wetsanding the edges, or the entire area i painted, fix that, and then use a polish to get rid of the sand scratches. If so, then what grit sandpaper should i use, and what's a good polish to use. Will izup and izpp work? and should i sand the whole area i painted, or just the edges?
