A friend of mine will be letting me wash my car and use his PC at his house in a few weeks. Recent finance changes will prevent me from paying a pro to detail my car like I wanted. He has an orange and red pad. He also has Griots Garage polish.
My car isn't messed up too bad. Just some light swirls and some spiderwebbing. I was thinking of buying my own polish since Griots doesn't get great reviews around here. Would Menzerna IP be an appropriate choice or is there a more user friendly polish that can do decent correction?
I plan on washing with Meguiars Gold Class, Claying with Meguiars clay kit, polishing with whatever gets recommended here, Klasse AIO, then Klasse SG.
I'm hoping to have a good time doing this and would like to get good results the first time around. My car is a black metallic Mazda. I don't know how hard Mazda paint is if that is a factor.
Thanks.
