I just got my order in from Duragloss and actually got a goosebump when opening it!!
I have an '02 Tundra it's Imperial Jade and is in excellinet condition. I just got it a month ago and LOVE this truck!!
I have waxed cars for years and always thought I was detailing them....not so much! After reading this wonderful website I realize that I was simple washing/waxing them. That being said, with what I have read and discussed with others, here's what I am doing and the products I am using.
Washing with a good car wash soap
Clay with Clay Magic using the car wash soap for lube
ScratchX to remove any swirls I might find.
DG#601 Bonding Agent
DG#105 Polish x2
Aquawax to finish
Wheel wells will be scrubbed and protected.
Using DG#821 to clean wheels
DG#253 to dress tires
Interior will be cleaned and vacuumed
Glass will be cleaned with vinegar and newspaper and then treated with RainX
Weatherstripping will be dressed with DG#253
I just got the bed Rhino Lined and it looks really good!
Thanks to everyone who has answered my questions and I will be sure to post some "before and afters" when I am done. :heelclick
