First "real" detail ever on my "new" car

So I bought a PC 7424 and also some CCS pads as well as Menzerna Intensive Polish, FM II, and FMJ.

It was decently warm here in Chicago so I figured I would give it a shot. This is the first time I have detailed this car (it's new to me as of Nov.), and the paint needed a LOT work. After 5 hours I was only through the pass side! I will have another 6 hours or so to go. I will finish it up this week, ran out of daylight today.

I have a couple before and after pics as well. The whole car was filled with swirl marks etc.

One thing I musst say is direct incandescent light on a black car that was pretty swirled was VERY unforgiving. I didn't know it was so bad...After going thru this process a couple more times I think that almost ALL of swirls and scratches will be gone!!

This forum is great for learning! Can't wait to get more experienced/involved.
