Thanks for the tips on polishing aluminum diamond plate. Just how did you use the polishing soap with the rotary? I have never used polishing soap.

Didn't, yet. I used polishing soap on uncoated aluminum Harley wheels and found it the easiest route to removing grunge and restoring shine. It may not be as stout as you need. I wouldn't expect it to be something you can use with any kind of machine. As the name implies, it's a soap-type product, just add minimal water and it makes a polishing foam and use the included applicator to rub yer arms off on a bigger project like that.

P21S is the maker, it's also available under the S100 name at H-D dealers.

I would have liked to have had it myself. Its a lot fancier than my F250, but a persons children come first.

Well there ya go... never browsed through those sections because I already have many of those products. Not only competitively priced but the P21S is on Special making it cheaper than the S100 version.

The aerosol S100 DETAIL+WAX is a nice little product with a ton of uses as well. I was severely disappointed when Johnson Wax discontinued Jubilee kitchen & appliance cleaner/wax. The S100 product works as well or better around the house.

Thank you. It took me two days to get it the way I wanted it. The roof was the hardest part. I don't think it had ever been polished since it was new. I hate working off from a ladder. A friend showed me a little platform for working on drywall that I think would be great to work on the roofs of pickups and SUV s. I will have one.
