First Poorboy's Order

After performing many searches and reading tons of posts, I've decided to invest in some Poorboy's products. They seem to be the ones most everyone here raves about consistently, and I didn't want to mix and match a bunch of different brands. Poorboy's made that easy with it's comprehensive line of stuff. So here's my first order, minus the Fluppi which was out of stock. Dang, I so wanted that thing. :D

PWC
Natty's Blue
EX
QD+
Natural Look
SSR1, and SSR2.5

That should do me for a while. I can't wait to try this stuff out. Oh, and thanks for letting me gloat. :headbang

You will love them!! You will have to get Spray and Wipe and Spray and gloss on your next order. Highly reccomended!

Greg

Thanks, Greg.

I was thinking of getting Spray and Wipe, but my cars are rarely in that in between dirtiness phase where I'd feel comfortable using it.

CARTfan,

Don't think of S & W as just a waterless wash.

There are SO many more reasons to have it around...

Like using it as an aid in removing polishes/cleaners.
Like using it before applying a wax or sealant to insure that the surface is perfectly clean.
Like using it in the drying process to take advantage of it's added lubrication and cleaning ability.
Like using it prior to a final QD to insure that the surface is clean.

I doubt there is a more important product in my detailing arsenal. :bigups

That's a fine list of products you have there.

Ditto Boss_429 -Pay close attention to this guy because he knows his stuff. He's one of the resident experts around here.

Tell us a little about your car/truck (what color/condition), are you plannning to apply the polish by machine, what process/steps are you thinking about, etc...

The poorboys line up is great and Steve's customer service and product support are second to none.

:hah Heck, I just used S&W to clean my white tennis shoes! It's obvious you did your research on which products you want, you'll love that lineup! I'd tell you to get some S&G too, but then again, you may as well get the whole lineup because you will at some point anyway!! Have fun with it!

I would definately add some S&W and S&G. Use the S&G to remove the QD+ or Natty's...you'll love this or spray it on after the first wipe when drying the car and wipe dry....excellent result. S&W is simply impoosible to live without IMHO. I would also add some TR, SSS and wheel sealent.

I haven't tried a Poorboy's product I didn't like.

Spray & Wipe is the most versatile product around. The other day I washed the car, but didn't wax because it started to look like rain. The next morning I went over it with S&W to ensure I had a clean surface to put another coat of wax on...the Natty's went on like a QD.

I agree with BOSS that S&W is one fine product......I mixed some with ice and vodka just the other day. My throat has never felt so dust free.... :beat

No really your order looks great you got all the good stuff and once hooked you will be buying new stuff from PB

Okay, okay, I'll get some S&W. Like I needed you guys to twist my arm. :LOLOL So can I use S&W between coats of EX? Or should I use QD+ for that? I ordered QD+ because it cleans and provides UV protection and carnauba, basically for when I wash the car but don't get a chance to go through the whole process.

MGM2003, my car is a 2005 World Rally Blue WRX :rockin. It's got 1000 miles on it, but the paint is, how shall I say... sh!#ty. It gets loaded with sap EVERY night, bombarded with hot sun and pollen during the day. :angry So I'm not going to do anything to the paint until I get the acid rain etching buffed out of it (that was dealt with in my first thread here). The dealer is actually paying for it so that's good. My plan of attack once I get to it? Clay, probably SSR1 if needed, I would hope SSR2.5 won't be needed right after the detail, then PWC, then EX x2 or 3, then Natty's Blue x 2 or 3. Oh, and S&W between EX coats. :D

You guys can let me know if I'm way off or what you might recommend. Thanks! :beer
