first PC & pads

Just got my first PC from Detailers Domain with a bunch of Uber pads at a decent price i think. Not too impressed with the feel of their white label pads but got some CCS as well.



Question is the PC has a vibrating rattle that sounds like a rough/loose bearing -- is this normal or should it operate smoother?

It's normal, just put your palm on the head of the pc. Don't be surprised if your hand goes numb. You'll get use to it before long.

Yep.... You will get used 2 it half way through your first car
 
I also found the 4 inch pads had less vibration as I'm sure others will agree. I just got/used my 4 inch pads the other week and tried them on my mothers Mazda3 that needed some desperate after winter cleaning.

Hope you got the 5.5" pads, as the 6" won't cut butter on a pc.
 
I got my PC 7424 w/ 5.5" pads. Used it for the first time and my whole right arm was numbed and it was sore for almost a weak. =\ Need to get used to it because it vibrates too much. But I heard if you put a screw on each end hole on each side, it would lessen the vibration by 40%. And someone said 4" pads doesn't vibrate much?! I should have known!
