Did it a friend of my parents, and took a lot longer than expected. The hardest part was the interior, them being horse owners tracked quite a bit of crud into the car. I used castrol super clean diluted 6:1 to get most of the stains out, and ended up using woolite at 10:1 for the rest. The leather was lexol cleaner and lexol conditioner. The outside I ended up claying, then polishing with 1Z PP followed by VM. I topped it with SG and a layer of Pinacle Signature over that. Wheels were clayed and coated with SG, as well as the windows. My cameras battery died on the befores so there are none:mad: and it was so late when I finished that the afters suck, but here are the pics anyhow

:)

sorry:usa

Thanks, I ended up doing them after the pics (doh!) but yeah, at one point in the day I pulled it outside and the owner asked why there was dust all over the car --> was the flake in the paint;)

While I was doing the car one of the neighbors came over to give the owner his advice. He saw I was using clay and goes "I used to use that stuff but I started using cleaner was instead, its much better" I pull out the bar and he goes "youre gonna cover the entire car with that little?!" I just told him he'd be suprised:p

Very sharp! Isn't it wonderful to get the neighbours coming over that know everything? That Lexus looks new, thanks for sharing the steps you took.

Great job! one down.....next.... tough work those horse cars huh? People dont realize how much work it takes to restore these wrecked cars. I hope you asked for enough you know....money.

Congratulations on getting paid. Nice work. Now you'll have to keep your camera charged for the next one so we can have befores with the afters. Good Luck.

What's the deal with bumping the old threads, man?

Just today alone you've resurrected a 4 1/2 y/o thread, a nearly 5 y/o thread, and (for goodness sakes) a 7 1/2 y/o thread.

Come on...
