First paid job complete

Well, I completed my first paying job on Saturday.  Wasn't a "correction" type job or anything, but the guy drove away tickled and wants me to do his Black 95 GMC truck whenever I can.

Interior was vac'd, hard surfaces and seats wiped down with a diluted citrus cleaner, protected with Aerospace 303, and carpets lightly cleaned with Folex.

Exterior:
   Washed with ONR
   Prepped with Nanoskin Prep Towel
Polished with Menzerna Final Polish via Rupes w/ white Lake Country flat pad
Topped with Collinite 845 via Rupes w/ red Lake Country pad
   Glass cleaned with Stoners
Black Trim wiped down with 303

I was pressed for time so I don't have a ton of great before and after pictures, but thought I'd share anyway.

That's a very nice colour. Nice job and good that you got a returning first customer.

Keep the good work up.

Well this is escalating quickly. The guy I did the jeep for wants me to do his truck whenever I can and his neighbor saw their jeep and that guy wants me to do his truck like now lol.

Congrats on popping your detail cherry! How happy was the customer? Do you see yourself wanting to do more paying work?

He was very happy. Apparently he took it home and immediately showed his neighbor who now wants me to do his truck asap. The guy I did the jeep for on Saturday told me before he left he wants me to do his truck as soon as I'm available as well.

I've tossed around the idea with my wife of maybe doing some work on the side for some extra cash, especially when its occasionally slow at my regular job. Just kind of exploring things right now to see where it goes.

Nice post, equally nice result! The great thing about this business is you get to see immediate results and have instant gratification for yourself and the client.

I'm up to 4 potential jobs off of that one I did Saturday. This guy wants his truck done, I've got his neighbor scheduled for next Saturday to do his truck and then later found out that same guy has a corvette in storage that he wants me to do (now THAT got me excited lol), and another coworker wants his wife's liberty done. Was not expecting this out of doing one job.....
