This is my buddie's car, and he has it up for sale. The paint was straight up trashed, swirls and scratches everywhere, and a pretty intense amount of buffer trails. I couldnt get pictures of the trails to come out, but the rest is in there.
Steps:
1st wash: Megs Gold Class (mixed heavy), with pretty warm water. I tried Purple Power (available at WalMart, Menards and Autozone at least) as a APC for tires and wheels
Compounded twice with Megs Fine Cut Cleaner #2 with cutting pad, rotary buffer. speed 2.5. This took out most of the scratches, swirls and trails, but left some of its own.
Polished with Megs Swirl Remover 2.0 #9 with finishing pad. I did a little bit of "jeweling" (no pressure, a little more speed at the end of the products life) on the bigger panels.
Washed again
then hit it with Klasse AIO and SG.
It came out considerably better.

Bad 50/50 with untouched on left and 2 compounds but no polish on the right

After the buffing steps, just before the secondary wash.

This has no LSP on it....
