Finally my first spring detail:bow its been a loooong winter i might add.

Wash gold class

Clay 3M cleaner clay

Meg #9 x1

NXT x1

decided to try nxt this year on top of #9, ill later try PPG and S100 as well, I'm happy with results, Im liking NXT tech wax a lot, as for #9 i basically applied and worked into paint, then let partially dry, before buffing off, this product is prob best used with PC, im guessing it would cut the buffing time in half? As for NXT i applied over entire car, waited prob at least 1hr before buffing off, which is a breeze btw, and almost no residue. For some reason this year my car picked up tonnes of crap, couldnt believe how much the clay picked up, not claying is like brushing your teeth without flossing :D

looks great. are you going to do another coat of NXT? if not, try that before topping it with a wax. you may or may not like it. but it's recommended by some, and it seems that two coats of NXT is nicer than one, plus you are ensuring you complete coverage. :p
 
Thxs, ya i was ready to do a second coat of NXT, but it was getting dark out, and ive since driven to a from work ect, later this summer i will def try to layer NXT, then maybe top w PPG or S100, wasnt 100% you could layer NXT, thanks again, PS looks like you have a nice Stang there, my first car was a 92LX 5.0L sedan black, miss the car still to this day:( esp seeing all those 05's running around:xyxthumbs

Thats crazy, i noticed that as well, if your turn it upside down you'll see the face, my VW is evil:hide: lol

and thanks. i had a 1989 LX 5.0 Hatchback before i bought my Mach1. those fox-stangs were/are fun cars.
 
Get this i pull into my driveway last night, look down at my odometer and 66666:eek: :) Anyways, has anyone here layered NXT, them maybe topped w a wax?? just wondering the cure time in between NXT applications? id like to try NXTx2 then maybe PPG or S100

I do the NXT/S100 combo a lot -- I usually just let it sit 15 minutes or so before putting the topper on.
