Nice work. I wish that 330i had more power to it. I would love one but just not enough HP.

just standard stuff:

mother's clay, meguiar's #7, S100 wax....and very very sore arms and butt. btw, those BMW rims are a pain to clean.

TheOzzfather, any bmw or mercedes will beat the pants off of my 4cyl Accord (in the bkgrd of the SLK)....but yeah, I would *settle* for a 330i any day :D.

oh yeah, doing each car took about 4 hrs. in all. The owner/my friend did the interior, so I'm guessing it would take 5-6 for a full on wash, clay, polish, wax etc. by myself. Is that too slow (no buffer)?

gnahc79,

Sweet detailing my friend! :bow :bow :bow

I love the reflection shot on the hood of the Bimmer and that red looks like it is popping right off of the car! :xyxthumbs

Keep up the great work!

Cheers,

My Black 7 Series

Looks wonderful! :xyxthumbs I love the first picture.

Oh yeah, if you think those Sport rims are hard to clean, get a load of the 20-spoke ones that came with the non-sport package 330i's. Yikes.

BMW's are the toughest wheels to wash, I do alot of them and use a trick I found on here, putting a polymer, makes it so much easier to wash. I have three BMW's that I wash on a regular basis and I can say that I have saved some time and more importantly a difficult job. Now a wheel brush with some QEW cleans them right up no prob, follow up with a MF, done. I have been using UPP on wheels, very happy with the look and protection.

Pshh, The 20 spokes arent that bad... the typical 7-series "wire" type rims on my moms old '96 740 are a PITA to keep clean and waxed. hehe

Im glad she dosent have it anymore. :D
